10 more days, 2 more races

10 more days until I board my flight back to the USA. I’ve got two more races in those 10 days and one of those races is big and one isn’t so big. I’ve been having a blast in the Belgium this season, I finally after 5 years rented an apartment where I felt really comfortable and was able to relax when I wasn’t at the races. Even though I had to listen to RyRy bitch a lot, it was nice to have a friend over here to share battle stories with when the races were tough. I hope to be able to get back in this rental next year, only time will tell. Once I get back home I’m looking forward to relaxing for 48hrs, doing my laundry, grabbin some good Mexican food at the local joint I’ve been missing and heading back to Bradley International where I’m gonna fly to Jelly Belly training camp. Every season I’ve flown to training camp I’ve been tired mentally, but the freshness and enthusiasm from all the guys at training camp always keeps my mind occupied and off the burnt out feeling this time of the year brings for me. I got a phone call from my friend back home while we were in Spain and told me he had to go sign for a certified letter from the UCI about me being included in their registered testing pool for anti-doping. While I welcome that and I’m happy to be part of the program, all that stuff you read in the press about it being tough to fill out is true. First off I’m a beginner, I’ve heard about the program through friends who are included in the USADA program… welp, I’ve never used this system before and I had to read through some crappy manual to figure it out. Now I’m into computers as much as the next guy, but you just don’t learn photoshop in one day. (Catch my drift?) To top it off, the certified letter went to my old address which I changed wayyy back in September with USAC and it took about 2 weeks to finally get to me. So that left me with four days to get all this information for the next three months ‘where-abouts’ into the system and learn this new program. On top of that I had to call the UCI in Switzerland to get my username and password emailed to me which seems easy enough but after I didn’t get my emails returned, I had to call and hound. I have nightmares thinking about what happens if your not hounding these people to get this info in? Enough missed tests can lead to sanctions. I think it’s rough that it’s not a tighter run shop then this, but we shall see, hopefully I’m proven wrong. I still don’t have answers to questions I’ve had about the program and its going on two weeks now ,three emails later… p1120013 If you read the Crank Brothers article I did a couple weeks back and commented on what was wrong with it. I have to report no one got what I was talking about, but many of you did find a lot of things wrong which was awesome. The mess-up I was talking about was my favorite Richard Fries line actually being a Dave Towle line. When I’m racing I can barely focus my A.D.D havin’ brain on the race. I’ve got some stuff for the people who commented and came close, I’ll come through on that promise. Lastly I’ve been looking for some turntables that are light and I can bring around with me while i’m on the road. Well, I’ve found them, after looking for a while. I’ll have some pictures and more info on that when I back in the states. I’m excited and looking forward to getting more music oriented while I’m on the road and on this site. Especially on long trips like this one. Seeya!

If your in need of some new tunes I posted another itunes mix…
