Well. Jersey GP’s were aiet. Made it on the podium on the second day. I knew I didn’t have my winning legs after about 20 seconds on the front on Saturday. I had that coming because I didn’t race the weekend before and I lose my edge if I skip a weekend of racing. Well I don’t but it’s a good excuse. This weekend was much better, I won in Sterling on Saturday and we had an awesome party afterwards. A whole slew of people dug themselves up outta their graves and came out. Guptill showed up with his lady, Sam Smith came out and a bunch of my friends from high school made it up. Along with everyone else from the western MA, area, it was a good party. Nothing got broken, no spray-paint cans got thrown in the fire, no one got black out drunk, so thats a success in my book! Had to head down to see the doctor this week. Needed to get the old ticker a check up. Recently with the uptake of coffee my hearts been thumpin’ like it was at a wu-tang show. Doc says it looks like its in good shape. Last time I went through, I broke the treadmill and the doc remembered me exactly when I came in the door. I managed to pick up a little head cold from my niece after the race on Saturday and I’m hoping I can kick it before the weekend gets here so I can rip it in Portland. We’ll see how that goes, if not, I might suck, which would only add to my Portland experience, even though last year I felt like we finally made up and became friends. We’ll have to see. Tim J tried to kiss me at the start of the race on Saturday, moaning about Lynn being gone to Belgium and everything; he attacked me. That savage… I just found out I’m heading from cross’ worlds directly to training camp in California at the end of January for pictures, bikes, training etc. Phewwww. Thats gonna hurt the legs and the CNS. Oh well, who complains about going to sunny California? The weathers been crazy, last two days here were over 55 and sunny. Me myself, I don’t have any problems with that, some guy I ran into on my ride was actually pissed at the fact that it was 60 degree’s and told me ‘because the polar bears are losing there ice to stand on…and shit.’ Fair enough. Raced in Boulder 10 days ago and thats always cool. I went out so hard on Saturdays race at the start and fell victim to the 5800 feet of altitude. It sucked pretty bad and then I stacked it over the barriers to make things even worse. You should check out this picture On the way home from Boulder, the sky was so crystal clear I couldn’t believe it, I took a flight from Philadelphia and it went right up the east coast and I was able to see Manhattan and beyond. I went out last weekend to Boston and did a nice training ride with Jesse A, Tim J and Shawn Milne. The riding up in the north shore is pretty nice and we had a good time, re-telling some good long ride stories and laughing a lot of the time. I think Shawn won most of the town line sprints excluding a couple that Jesse and I got. I don’t believe Tim J actually won any… Shawn’s birthday came and we all congregated down at redbones bbq in Somerville on Friday night. Pretty cool place and I hadn’t ever been. Milne left a little hurt, but it was good for him. Here he is telling us ‘no more beeeeerrrrr!’ It looked like single speed world championships were a good time and Ryan and Barry took home the cake, They look prettttty hammered in those pictures! It’s wick’z birthday today, so happy birthday to wicks. I’m sure he’s travelin to Jersey for this weekends USGP’s right now. Alright Im out to hit the turntables adios amigos!

So, its not every Halloween that we are so lucky to have the treefarmer here to celebrate at 130 west st. I took a couple pictures from last night and from the looks of it, he had a good time. In other notes, things are going well, heading to Boulder tomorrow for the UCI races out there. Kinda weird to be going across the country to race when their are UCI races 10 minutes from my door here in Massachusetts, but thats the way the wind blows and I really like the Boulder events and crowds. Poor Troy Wells. I haven’t talked to him yet, but it looked like he was pretty ruffed up last Sunday with a broken elbow, however, per his blog…it sounds like it was just a sprain. Which is good because I like having wellzy at the races. Maybe we’ll see his big bro at the races this weekend.
