I got one!
Gossip October 13th, 2007It’s been a couple weeks and a lot of racing has gone down, but I won’t bore you with all that, if your here at my website, you’ve seen the results and gotten the race reports long ago, which is good because blow by blow race reporting is becoming less and less fun to write. I’ll let velonews rip those out and I’ll tell you cooler things like how the Vegas cross’ race was a blast. Timmy J and I took a pimp, tinted out, 20+ inch rimmed, GMC Denali up to the venue and made Danny (my road manager) pay for it since he couldn’t blow off dinner w/ the sponsors to take us up there!!! Vegas was a great race, tons of industry crowd and cross’ fans, many of them hammered, just havin’ a blast. The mood that night was impressive and I’m looking forward to next year alreadly. Last weekend were the Long Island races and the promoter Myles got the world champ to come out and race with us…I had a bad day on Saturday but did damage control and ended up 5th, Sunday I was 3rd and making the podium was huge. Sam Smith made an awesome video of the race which I’m going to post. Vervecken (world champ) wasn’t his normal euro leg ripping-off-self so we had a good time throwing some attacks in at him. Those world champ stripes should have just been a bullseye because he was a marked man. Timmy J couldn’t fiqure out the Tom Tom GPS deal when we were trying to get over there, so we had a little trouble but eventually we got there
…I even had a hard time figuring it our I have to admit. We finally did get there and some of vervecken’s fans were staying at the same place, they couldn’t rent a car aparently and had the local police hook them up with a ride home from the race! Hilarious! Belgians are good talkers!
So now the big news, Clinton Sparks, the DJ I speak of regularly here on my blog, who probably doesn’t even remember me from the one time I met him……..finally motivated me enough and I went out and bought the turntables I’ve wanted for many many many years.
Probably since high school to be exact. I bought technic 1200’s and this technology ’serato’ that converts mp3 to vinyl. It’s pretty sickkkk. It’s been stealing up some of my time which is probably a good thing. I started this update about a week ago and i’m finishing it now, so the most current news, extra exclusive…I just won the first race on the New England series in Gloustah’ Massachusetts and got the series lead!
whoohoo!

That’s a nice setup you’ve got there! I have 1200’s and a ttm-56 as well, but I’m strictly vinyl. I’m mostly playing hip hop but I can see getting SSL one day… I’m pretty into record collecting as well so that’s a big part of it for me right now.
I’ve been learning to DJ as a nice distraction from racing for about a year now. I am only just lately beginning to create mix cds that are satisfying. You’re going to have to set up this site so you can post some trainwrecks on here for us all to laugh at!
Good luck, and nice job at Glostah!

You messed up sundays trifecta, but the win bet for Saturday was huge so we’ll cut you some slack for the weekend. It looked like the Jockey came out of the saddle around the eighth pole but managed a good finish, stay well and tell Johnson to get those quarter crack mended on his hoof. See on the way back from Florida on Sunday I’ll wave from the plane, I doubt the pilot will have a parachute to let me jump out to see you on the podium shot. Have fun see ya soon…………….
